Lone Wolf 6L6SE Build

So I wanted a dedicated Harp amp after years of using small single ended Guitar amps with the typical lower gain pre-amp tube swaps. I really wanted to see if there was that much of a difference in using an amp tailored to harmonica. The answer is a resounding yes!

Unfortunately I don't have a huge number of build pics, but the project started with a chassis/ faceplate/ turret board kit  from Lone Wolf Blues Company , and downloaded the layout and schematic. I don't believe Randy offers this kit any longer, but the project files still exist on his site.

Here's the box and chassis, with the roll of tolex, the amp's not quite done in this photo.

Completed amp mounted in the cabinet. Still need to do the tolex and back covers. That's a Weber Sig 10 Alnico speaker, JJ tubes. Big honking .47 coupling caps IIRC.

Top of the completed amp.

Another shot of the amp.
